  1. FAQ & Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. Wallet Connection Issues

Problem: Players or developers are unable to connect their Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to Peer2Play.

  • Solution:

    1. Ensure that your wallet is installed and properly configured. For MetaMask, check that the browser extension is installed and that the wallet is unlocked.

    2. Verify that you are on the correct blockchain network (Sei Testnet or the correct blockchain for your game).

    3. Clear your browser cache or try connecting using an incognito window.

    4. Make sure that your wallet has the necessary permissions to interact with the Peer2Play platform.

    5. If the issue persists, try reloading the platform or restarting your browser.

2. P2P Token Transaction Failure

Problem: Users encounter errors while trying to purchase in-game assets or participate in tournaments using P2P Tokens.

  • Solution:

    1. Ensure you have enough P2P Tokens in your wallet to complete the transaction, including covering any associated gas fees.

    2. Check the transaction status on the blockchain explorer. Sometimes transactions can be delayed due to network congestion.

    3. Make sure your wallet is connected and has sufficient permissions for in-game transactions.

    4. Try increasing the gas fee manually in your wallet to ensure the transaction is processed faster.

    5. If the issue persists, cancel the pending transaction and try again with a higher gas fee or check for blockchain issues.

3. Tournament Not Showing Up

Problem: A tournament that an influencer created or a player joined is not visible on the dashboard or in the tournament listings.

  • Solution:

    1. Ensure that the tournament has been successfully created by checking the influencer’s dashboard for a tournament confirmation.

    2. Refresh the platform and check if the tournament listing appears.

    3. Confirm that the tournament start time has not been delayed or that there are no entry restrictions.

    4. If the tournament was canceled or modified, ensure that you receive notifications in your account or via email.

    5. For influencers, check if the tournament settings (e.g., maximum participants, entry fees) are correctly configured.

4. Game Not Loading After Integration

Problem: After a developer integrates the SDK, the game does not load or displays errors when launched on Peer2Play.

  • Solution:

    1. Verify that the SDK was properly integrated and that there are no missing files or configurations in your game project.

    2. Check the console for error messages related to wallet authentication, token transactions, or API calls.

    3. Ensure that the game is deployed in a supported environment (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, web).

    4. Test your game in the development environment to see if the issue is related to the production build.

    5. Consult the SDK documentation or contact Peer2Play support if the problem persists.

5. Failed Security or Compliance Check

Problem: A game fails the compliance or security check during onboarding.

  • Solution:

    1. Review the feedback provided by Peer2Play’s compliance team to identify specific issues (e.g., missing legal documentation, IP rights).

    2. Ensure that all required documentation (e.g., proof of IP, licenses) has been submitted correctly.

    3. Check your game code for potential security vulnerabilities, such as insecure smart contracts or open exploits.

    4. Use third-party auditing tools to validate your smart contracts before resubmitting.

    5. After resolving the issues, resubmit the game for another compliance review.
