Hosting Tournaments

Hosting tournaments is one of the key features for influencers on Peer2Play. It allows them to engage their community, promote specific games, and earn rewards. Peer2Play provides simple tools for creating, managing, and promoting tournaments, making it easy for influencers to organize events that resonate with their audience.

Step-by-Step Guide to Hosting Tournaments

  1. Create a Tournament:

    • Go to the Influencer Dashboard and select the Create Tournament option.

    • Choose a game from the list of games available on the platform. Peer2Play supports a variety of games, and influencers can select titles that align with their audience’s preferences.

  2. Customize Tournament Settings:

    • Tournament Name: Give your tournament a unique name that will attract players.

    • Entry Fee: Set an entry fee in P2P Tokens. Players will need to stake this amount to participate in the tournament. Part of the entry fee will go into the prize pool, while a portion will be allocated to the influencer.

    • Prize Distribution: Define how the prize pool will be distributed among the top players (e.g., Top 3 players, winner-takes-all, etc.).

    • Tournament Type: Select the format (e.g., single elimination, leaderboard competition, timed event).

    • Max Participants: Set the maximum number of participants for the tournament to ensure it remains competitive.

  3. Promote the Tournament:

    • After creating the tournament, Peer2Play generates a unique referral link that you can share with your followers.

    • Use social media channels like YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, or Twitter to promote the tournament. Encourage your community to participate by highlighting the rewards and competitive nature of the event.

  4. Track Tournament Progress:

    • Once the tournament starts, use the Influencer Dashboard to monitor participant activity in real-time. You can track the number of players, the performance of each participant, and any ongoing matches or rounds.

    • Engage with participants during the tournament by hosting live streams, offering commentary, or showcasing highlights.

  5. Reward Distribution:

    • Peer2Play handles the automatic distribution of rewards once the tournament concludes. Winners receive their prizes in P2P Tokens, which are directly transferred to their connected wallets.

    • As the tournament host, you’ll also receive your share of the entry fees and any referral commissions earned from bringing new players to the platform.

Key Features for Tournament Hosting

  • Flexible Tournament Setup: Customize entry fees, prize pools, and tournament rules to fit the preferences of your audience.

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Track tournament progress, participant engagement, and leaderboard rankings as the tournament unfolds.

  • Automated Prize Distribution: Peer2Play handles the logistics of distributing rewards, ensuring that winners are paid promptly and fairly.
